Describe Your Book Cover and How It Came About

Originally I wanted to do cartoon images with Andy Gets Angry, but then my friend (and artist) suggested painting the images on canvas. I am very fortunate that Emily agreed to create 26 beautiful paintings to illustrate the story of Andy. For the cover painting, both Emily and I wanted a picture of Andy getting….you guessed it ANGRY. From day one I have had this image in my mind of Andy angry, with steam coming out of his ears, and his body looking tight and tense. Another fun fact, my son Beau was used as the model for Andy.

AUTHOR BIO:

Mike Masse is a mindfulness consultant and public speaker who specializes in mindfulness-based stress reduction. For over a decade, he has been teaching adults, youth, and children mindfulness skills to help reduce their levels of stress and anxiety. A highly sought-after trainer, Mike facilitates workshops with educators, first responders, health care providers, and others who work in high-stress environments. Mike lives in Stratford, Ontario with his two sons and his wife.
