It's so exciting to back here and featured here on your blog. Thank you for having me. I'm thrilled to announce the release of my third children's book, Tiny Green Unicorns.

Her journey teaches her the value of perseverance and the magic of imagination. Where Do You Find Inspiration?

I find that the majority of inspiration for my writing comes from my everyday experiences with my three kiddies. Whether it's a joke one of them tells me or a heart melting moment we share together, these experiences often find their way into my work and help to keep my creativity flowing.

The Patroosh, the Pelican series take place in my hometown town of Yamba, Australia, where my family and I spend a lot of time at the beach near a local boat ramp. This is the location where my first book, Patroosh, the Cheeky Pelican, was born. Based on the hilarious interactions of my own children with the local pelicans and seagulls. What's so special about these books is that all characterizations and illustrations are based on our own personal experiences and local locations, making them all the more authentic and relatable.

Tiny Green Unicorns was inspired by a very personal experience in my life. When my daughter who was five at the time, was preparing for surgery, we went on a quest for tiny unicorns in her ears, nose, and throat to make her specialist appointments less daunting and more enjoyable. This experience reminded me that, even in the darkest moments, there is always hope and magic to be found. It was this moment that led to this story.

Overall, my three kiddies are my constant source of inspiration and motivation. Kids have this uncanny ability to inspire us to be better, to laugh more, and to see the world with fresh, curious eyes.
