My Review:
I honestly was a little nervous to try this product, Dr Song's Professional Teeth Whitening Kit, because I was worried I might do it wrong and mess up my teeth. This product, Dr Song's Professional Teeth Whitening Kit, is of professional grade, and therefore it is very important to follow the directions step by step.
Immediately after I placed my order on Amazon I received an email from the Dr Song staff thanking me for my purchase and provided detailed directions so I would be able to use my new product correctly and to achieve top results.
I was a little overwhelmed after reading the directions that Dr Song's staff had emailed me. There were quite a few steps, but everything was clearly written out. I think it's great it was so detailed, but from quick glance it seemed scary.
As directed I brushed and flossed my teeth before starting the bleaching process. Then before I could start whitening I molded my teeth trays so that they fit correctly and stayed in place. I then squirted a small portion of the whitening bleach from the syringe into a cup. I used the applicator brush to apply a thin layer of gel onto my front teeth. The gel went on easily, but it felt very cold on my teeth. The gel had a somewhat strong minty/plastic/sanitizer scent. It reminded me of being in the dental office. After I finished applying the gel I inserted the whitening trays into my mouth over my teeth.
The kit includes an LED tray light that can be placed over the trays. Dr Song suggests using the LED tray light for the quickest and best results, but it is not required to achieve results. I wanted best results so I did use the LED tray light during the first 15 minutes of my whitening treatments. Dr Song recommends wearing the trays for 15 minutes and up to 4 hours if a stronger treatment is desired. For my first few treatments I kept the trays in for just 15 minutes and with the LED light.
Since this product is very strong I decided not to do daily treatments as I sometimes suffer from sensitive teeth issues. So I used Dr Song's product every other day. After five treatments I have been increasing the time by 3-5 minutes as I continue treatment sessions.
I noticed a slight difference the next day after the first treatment. However, it was after the third treatment I could absolutely notice an improvement. I couldn't believe how fast this product worked and how amazing the results were. I'm not quite at my desired shade yet, but I will continue to use this product. I have absolutely no doubts that I will be able to achieve my whitening goals with Dr Song's Professional Teeth Whitening Kit in just a matter of time. So far my teeth are significantly much whiter and I am already receiving notice and compliments from friends, family, and co-workers.
You will definitely be getting your money's worth as this kit has approximately 50 applications! Also, the shelf life of this product is approximately 12 months upon receiving when stored properly. So you will have plenty of time to complete dozens of applications.
