EXCERPT ONE:
The girls took a seat at a newly vacated table with the stares and whispers following them, some appreciative, some jealous, and some downright hostile. Giselle fidgeted with the hem of her skirt, feeling her nerves get the better of her.
"Quit tugger'in on your skirt, Giselle," Dusty snapped. "It ain't gonna get any longer."
Giselle's cheeks flushed, and she laughed weakly, smoothing out her skirt self-consciously.
"I'm gonna go find us some answers," Dusty declared, her doe eyes narrowed as she scanned the room. "You girls keep your pretty little eyes peeled for anyone actin' sus."
With that, Dusty strutted off, her blonde curls bouncing as she approached a group of burly men in the corner. Giselle watched, impressed by Dusty's fearlessness, but also a little worried for her friend's safety. Surely, someone so teeny posed only a microscopic threat to any opponents?
"This place is uncivilized," Tristabelle remarked, her nose wrinkled in distaste. "I do not understand why anyone would frequent such an establishment…oooh look an automaton bull! How lovely!"
The girls were faced with trying to stop Tristabelle from charging ahead at the mechanical bull resting to the dance floor's right. A chubby ginger in tank top and body glitter just tumbled off to the padding bellow, cursing her luck.
"Fairies were not meant to handle the mystical brilliance of living machines," Princess Tristabelle noted to the sulking ginger.
"Excuse me? My mom and dad are on the council. Do you know that?" The woman hissed.
"Underestimate a princess of Golden Land all you wish, fool! Filthy Commoner, to me!" Princess Tristabelle pointed a long, seemingly magical finger at Giselle.
"Why do I have to be filthy?"
"When's the last time you bathed?" Fleur quipped.
"I…I…I'm getting around to it! It's been a busy day!"

Ten Things People Don’t Know About Dacy!
10.) I’m a guy! For real people think Dacy Alex is a girl. Sometimes they do at least. I’ve definitely had a few fans try to get my picture. They become less interested when they find out I’m a guy. Some become more interested! It’s 2025, and I don’t judge.
9.) I’ve danced ballet at a semi professional level. Well, at least that’s what the program was called. Truth be told, I was the worst dancer in the class. But I was also the only guy, which made me a valuable commodity. I got to play Prince Charming in Cinderella.
8.) I dislike the video game genres I’m the best at. Racing games, football games, basketball games, hockey games; I’ll take you all on, and I’ll jack you up, real rap, people. I had a 67 race winning streak on Mario Kart across three systems until I came in 2nd place to a 6-year-old. I never threw a controller so hard in my life. F them kids!
7.) I’m a huge old school wrestling fan. Maybe you can tell because I use wrestling moves in the action scenes in my books. But, if you met me you’d never guess my love for 90’s and early 00’s wrestling.
6.) I have an unhealthy amount of Taylor Swift merch. I wouldn’t say I’m a super fan or anything, but I would say I’m a super fan!
5.) Oh! I forgot to add, not only am I a huge wrestling fan I have a little bit of wrestling training. I can roll, I can fall, I can run the ropes, and I can throw a “worked” punch. Look out, John Cena, I’m coming for you, brother!
4.) Shockingly, my favorite book has no sex or hot babes, or even many humans. Because my favorite book is Animal Farm.
3.) I may be a Taylor Swift superfan but I think Katy Perry is hotter. Don’t tell, Taylor, I said that!
2.) If I could go into any fictional universe, I’d head to the Star Trek universe during The Next Generation timeline. Why? So I could get some one on one sessions with Deanna Troi!
1.) I pretend and give off their air that I’m graceful and elegant. But, I’m a huge klutz and break a good percentage of what I touch. I’ve broken two 100-year-old chandeliers, numerous windows, two laptops, plexiglass with an errant slap shot, my goalie’s arm in tenth grade, and sooooo much more!
