If love is an emotion, then is it the expression of our belongingness? Most of you would ask why do you need to define love?

Love is Love.

Then what is love?

In the monsoon season, the rain and the green trees are the same for everyone, and for those in love — romance is everywhere in the air.

For the one who has lost a loved one and is mourning, the same rain makes him depressed and lonely.

And for someone who has just had to fight... oh my God, the heavens have fallen. The heavens are crying as droplets of rain. In fact, the heavens never ever fall, but the pain that is felt is so excruciating that you feel that the strongest thing (the heavens) will fall.

Now it’s the same rain, the same surroundings, the same you, and the same me, but what’s different is how you look at it, how you feel it, and how you connect to it.

The connection that you share with your inner self when you see the rain expresses your inner emotions and how you are feeling at that point of time.

These different emotions express your mood, and what and how you are feeling at that given moment when the rain is falling.

The same rain is a smile for some and a tear for others, depending on how you are feeling within. It depends on the relationship you are having with your own self at that moment.

Now the question is who is going to determine our emotions — the weather, or the rain?

It’s sunny, I’m happy; it’s raining, I’m sad; it’s cold, I’m miserable; it’s hot, oh my God why did you make summer?

All your relationships are framed around this kind of mental preordained feeling.

So, let’s come back to love. What is love and from where did this feeling come?

Love is an expression, an emotion, a feeling. It is exhibited by each one of us the moment we come into this world.
