My Review:

I have heard about derma rollers, but I had never tried one before.  I suffer from acne, acne scars, dark spots, and uneven skin tone.  I am always interested in trying skincare products that help me reduce or eliminate these skin issues instead of just hiding them with makeup.

I honestly hate needles, so I was scared to try this product.  I had no idea why anyone would intentionally run needles over their face.  However, there is so much popularity around derma rollers and I was beginning to get curious.  So I was happy to be asked by Petunia Skincare to try their product, Derma Roller 540 Needles 1.5mm.

This product came in a pretty maroon box.  Inside the box was a plastic case that contained the derma roller.  The derma roller was gold and champagne colored with a purple roller and a purple flower on the bottom of the handle.  The top of the derma roller had little dots to place your finger on for soft comfort and to secure placement.  I liked how light and thin the Petunia Skincare Derma Roller was.

Although a bit nervous and scared, I was ready to see what all the hype was about and finally try the derma roller.  As directed I made sure my face was clean before using the Petunia Skincare Derma Roller.  I then rolled back and forth with steady speed and slight pressure.  As instructed, I rolled the roller in all four directions; vertically, horizontally, and diagonally 10 times each.  I rolled on my forehead, chin, and at the side of my eyes.

The first time I used the Petunia Skincare Derma Roller I pressed very gently as I was somewhat nervous using it.  After each roll I was able to apply more pressure as I got used to the motion.

I like that this product is easy to use.  Petunia Skincare provided step-by-step instructions on the box with detailed pictures.  In addition, this product came with an e-book, “The Ultimate Guide to Derma Rolling” which provides significant information about the whole background and process of derma rolling.  Immediately after purchasing this product, Petunia Skincare Derma Roller, I received an email thanking me for my business, product tips and information for best use, and the ebook.

This product does feel weird to use at first and it does take some time to get used to.  However, it wasn't actually scary or super painful to use.  In fact, some of the rolls actually tickled.  Although different areas on the face and body feel different under the Petunia Skincare Derma Roller, none of them were too painful or uncomfortable.  It feels like tiny, tiny little pricks, softer than a pinch.

After using this product, Petunia Skincare Derma Roller my skin was somewhat red and splotchy.  I would definitely recommend not using this product before going out of the house.  Petunia Skincare recommends only rolling at night to avoid the redness that may prevent you from doing normal activities.

After using Petunia Skincare Derma Roller I applied a moisturizer.  Petunia Skincare recommends applying active ingredients and/or skincare products for fast absorption into the skin.  I definitely think adding the skincare product after rolling helps the moisturizer fully penetrate the skin and lock in hydration.  Plus, the moisturizer helps reduce the redness of the rolling after effect.

The following day after usage is when I started to really notice a difference.  As the next morning I felt like my skin was tighter and firmer.  My face felt soft, smooth, and silky.  I looked refreshed, rejuvenated, and even younger.  My face continued to glow for days.  I also started noticing my skin tone was lightening and my acne scars were less noticeable.

I really like that my skin has been less oily since using Petunia Skincare Derma Roller.  This has also led to decreased acne outbreaks.

Petunia Skincare suggests only rolling on your face once every 3-4 weeks and on your body once every 2-3 weeks. 

I like that the cleaning process isn't too complicated and that the thorough cleaning only needs to be done after every 3-4 sessions.

This product is truly a wow factor!  My skin looks beautifully transformed and it feels softer, smoother, firmer, and brighter.

After seeing such excellent results on my face I have also started using this product on my body to decrease the appearance of scars and stretch marks.

My Review:

As a health major I strongly believe in preventative medicine.  It is so important to take care of your body and prepare for the worst.  Every fall/winter I get my flu shot.  I take vitamins every day.  So it’s not a far jump to add a probiotic and Omega-3.  I have been taking Microbiome Plus+ Heart Probiotic daily for the last three weeks.  

Microbiome Plus+ Heart Probiotic comes in a white and pink medicine box.  The probiotic is a small, white capsule.  The Omega-3 is a large, yellow soft gel.  It is recommended that these pills be taken twice daily with meals.  Every morning with breakfast I took one probiotic capsule and one Omega-3 soft gel.  Then either at lunch or dinner time, depending on my schedule I would take one more probiotic capsule and one more Omega-3 soft gel.  I really liked that the directions only suggested twice a day and didn’t specify at a certain time or certain meal to be taken with.  This really helps if you have a busy schedule and can’t always get away at a specific time to take the medications.

I really like that this product, Microbiome Plus+ Heart Probiotic is like a double combo fighter against heart disease and it helps with digestion and immune support.

This product, Microbiome Plus+ Heart Probiotic, significantly helps reduce the risk of heart disease, heart attack, and stroke while also increasing good bacteria and decreasing bad bacteria to prevent stomach disease.

I do not have high blood pressure or high cholesterol; however, some members in my family have suffered from heart conditions.  Therefore, I feel it’s important with a family history to take the preventative approach.

I like that this product has helped reduced bloating and constipation.  I feel like my tummy has been more settled and calm after taking this product.

I really like that this product has boosted my immune system.  I have a very low immune system that is easily compromised so I need all the extra immune support I can get.

I would recommend Microbiome Plus+ Heart Probiotic to everyone that has a heart condition or has a family history of heart disease or wants to increase their chance of not suffering from heart disease.  If taking the soft gel twice a day could help prevent you from suffering from heart disease, it is definitely worth taking.  In addition, this product comes with a probiotic that also helps prevent stomach disease and maintains immune health.

My Review:

I am all about fitness and weight loss products so I was thrilled to be asked to try this product, Pure Whey Protein Isolate by Summit Nutritions.

This product arrived in a small envelope package.  Inside the envelope were three individual packets that contained the Whey Protein mix.

I love that Summit Nutritions offers this three pack option.  This size is perfect for travel and can easily be tossed in your bag for on the go.  This size is also perfect for if you're hesitant about trying a new product.  This sample size is enough to introduce you to the brand and the product without the full commitment and expense of a large jar.  That is truly one of my reservations about purchasing new health food items online that cost $20+ and not knowing if I will like them or throw them away after one use.  So trying the sample size of the three packets is a fantastic option.  Just to clarify, although I am referring to this product as a sample size as it only contains three packets, which is three servings, they are full and complete servings; it’s just a small amount of servings compared to the amount of servings found in a jar.

I love that this product is super easy to use.  On the back of each packet are detailed step-by-step directions with pictures on how to properly use this product. 

Pure Whey Protein Isolate by Summit Nutritions is available in two flavors, Natural Alpine Vanilla and Natural Dutch Chocolate.  I chose to try the Natural Alpine Vanilla flavor.  I really liked the Vanilla flavor.  It was so delicious!  This product was not at all chalky or clumpy. 

The first time I used Pure Whey Protein Isolate by Summit Nutritions, I mixed it with 8 oz. of non-fat milk in a shaker cup.  This product blended very well and only took about 30 seconds before it was completely mixed and ready to drink.  The second and third occasion I used this product in a blender with non-fat milk and frozen strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries.  Pure Whey Protein Isolate by Summit Nutritions was very complementary in both recipes and will go well with several other smoothie combinations.

Pure Whey Protein Isolate by Summit Nutritions kept me fuller longer and helped reduce my extra snacking throughout the day.  I liked not feeling hungry again only an hour after eating a meal.  This product will definitely be helping me on my weight loss journey as it suppresses my appetite and increases my energy levels.

I really like that this product is lactose free, gluten free, and soy free.  This product also has no fillers or excipients, no banned substances, and no hidden ingredients.

I love that this product has only 110 calories!  A common disappointment with protein powders is that they usually contain high calories.  Most people like me that use protein powders are trying to lose weight and every calorie counts!  I like that Pure Whey Protein Isolate by Summit Nutritions doesn't ruin my limited daily calorie intake amount.

I love that this product contains 26 grams of protein!  Due to health reasons it is strongly recommended that I consume a minimum of 100 grams of protein every day.  It is really hard to eat that much protein!  However, just a couple of these shakes gets me past the halfway mark.  So this product has significantly helped in my daily protein intake needs and on my road to weight loss.

I will definitely continue to use this product as part of my daily calorie intake as it increases my energy and helps me lose weight.  I would absolutely recommend this product to everyone!  Whey protein is such a vital item to have in your diet and everyone should probably be consuming more protein than they already are.  Pure Whey Protein Isolate by Summit Nutritions is delicious, easy to use, and has low calories and high protein content.
