MY BOOK REVIEW:

I absolutely loved this book!!  One of the best children's books I've read in a while!!

This book, "The Surfing Mouse," is a fun, exciting, uplifting children's read filled with beautiful, vibrant illustrations, important life lessons, and inspirational themes.

This book follows the story of a brave surfing mouse facing his fears about a high, scary, big wave and learning to overcome this obstacle with determination, strength, and willpower.  This book is full of encouraging and motivating themes that young readers are sure to connect with.

This book is full of bright, beautiful, colorful illustrations that are captivating and are sure to immerse the reader into the story.

This book is perfect for bedtime story time and as a learning to read to book.  This book is filled with rhyming sequences which are ideal for children’s development as it exposes your toddler to pitch, inflection, cadence, and rhythm of speech.

This book is quick read at 25 eBook pages cover-to-cover and filled with 19 pages of text and illustrations.

This book is appropriately “G” rated as there is no swearing, no gory violence, no adult situations, and no sexual content.

This book is currently not part of a book series and therefore can be read as a standalone book.

All in all, I enjoyed reading this book and would recommend it!!  I think all young readers and their families will like this book too!!  So, add it to your TBR List and get to reading - you won't be disappointed!!

AUTHOR BIO:

Stefan Piccione has enjoyed a lifelong passion for the ocean, an unrelenting love of surfing, and a great appreciation for a well-crafted story. This combination would eventually inspire him to write a children's book about a courageous young surfing mouse. Stefan graduated from Fairfield University with a degree in film and a minor in Italian studies. Having written a myriad of songs, short films, a feature film, web series, and numerous children's books, "The Surfing Mouse" is his very first children's book. Outside of writing and surfing, Stefan enjoys playing guitar, soccer, basketball, and beach volleyball. He is an avid environmentalist, regularly cleaning up ocean and coastline plastic while out on his paddleboard or walking the beautiful beaches of Rhode Island. Stefan currently resides on the coast of Eastern Connecticut.
